Platform Role, Prohibited Items & Liability

1. Nature of the Platform

Haustidy operates a managed platform for buying and selling pre-owned and open-box items, with logistics coverage based on active service routes. Haustidy facilitates escrow payments, delivery coordination, and post-delivery inspection/dispute workflows.

Haustidy does not take title to listed goods, manufacture products, or guarantee item condition.

2. Seller Representations & Warranties

By listing an item, sellers represent and warrant that they are the lawful owner, the item is not stolen or unlawful, the listing is accurate, and the item is not counterfeit.

Sellers agree to indemnify and hold Haustidy harmless against claims arising from breach of these warranties.

Haustidy may request proof of ownership, remove suspicious listings, suspend accounts, and report illegal activity to law enforcement where required.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Haustidy is not liable for losses arising from user-to-user transactions, including issues involving counterfeit or unlawful goods.

In all cases, Haustidy's total liability is limited to the amount paid in the disputed transaction.

6. User Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Haustidy and its team from claims, liabilities, or expenses related to terms violations, unlawful goods, IP infringement, or misrepresentation.

7. Stolen Property Complaints

If a third party alleges an item is stolen, Haustidy may remove the listing, request proof of ownership, suspend the seller account during review, and cooperate with law enforcement.
