Haustidy Shipping & Returns Policy

This Shipping & Returns Policy governs purchases completed on Haustidy. By using the platform, you agree to this policy.
1. Shipping Process
1.1 Integrated logistics
Haustidy facilitates shipping through our integrated logistics process in active service areas. Sellers must use this shipping process unless explicitly permitted otherwise.
1.2 Seller dispatch obligation
Once seller confirms item availability within two days, we would reach out if item hasn't been shipped; else, you get a refund. Please note that processing fees are non-refundable.
1.3 Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and paid during purchase.
1.4 Delivery timelines
Delivery timelines depend on route, operational capacity, and order volume, and are usually same-day to 7 working days in active service areas. Timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
- Logistics service disruptions
- Weather events
- Public holidays
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery details
- Events outside reasonable control
1.5 Incorrect address
Buyers are solely responsible for correct delivery details. Haustidy and sellers are not liable for delivery failure caused by incorrect address information.
2. Escrow & Payment Release
Payments are held in escrow and released to the seller when either:
- The buyer confirms satisfactory receipt, or
- 48 hours pass after confirmed delivery with no complaint filed through the order confirmation form.
If no issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery confirmation through the order confirmation form, the transaction is treated as complete and final.
3. Inspection Period
Buyers have 48 hours from confirmed delivery to inspect items and report issues using the order confirmation form or official Haustidy support channels. Claims submitted after the inspection window are not considered.
4. Return Eligibility
Returns are allowed only when:
- The item is significantly different from description
- The wrong item was delivered
- The item arrived materially damaged
- The buyer submits a dispute through the order confirmation form
Returns are not allowed for:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Minor wear that is consistent with used condition
- Issues already disclosed in the listing
5. Evidence Requirement
Return claims must include adequate supporting evidence.
- Clear photos or videos
- Images of packaging
- Unboxing video (recommended for electronics and high-value items)
- Written explanation of the issue
6. Return Shipping
If a return is approved, return shipping responsibility is determined by dispute context. Items must be returned in the condition received, including original packaging where applicable.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or Haustidy wallet. Processing can take 5-7 business days after approval, excluding extra delays from financial institutions.
8. Risk of Loss
If delivery is confirmed and no issue is reported within 48 hours, risk transfers to the buyer. If an issue is reported within the inspection period using the order confirmation form, funds remain in escrow while the case is reviewed.
9. Fraud Prevention & Abuse
Haustidy may investigate suspicious claims, reject fraudulent requests, require additional verification, and suspend abusive accounts.
10. Platform Role
Haustidy acts as a managed transaction intermediary and does not take title to listed items. Haustidy provides escrow, delivery coordination, and post-delivery inspection and dispute workflows.
11. Policy Amendments
Haustidy may amend this policy at any time. Updated versions become effective when published on the platform.
